This is a great idea!

Coffee Prince is available at Hulu (which I think is USA-only?).

RE: the Paul Davey nomination -- ack, I guess he named two paintings "Pacifics"! I meant to nominate this one.

Hulu is the reason I got into Coffee Prince. Thank you Hulu.

Sorry about that! Fixed the link to the Paul Davey's painting.

Initially, we were trying to focus on shorter media, but then again, there's no reason why someone couldn't watch all of Coffee Prince in one sitting...^^

The Effluent Engine is online (and short :)).

This is a well respected translation of The Twelve Kingdoms novels .

I assume that most if not all the manga can be found online at the usual not-entirely-legal places, but I'm not sure that counts.

The Epic of Gilgamesh is (very!) out of copyright so is all over the place, I wouldn't know translation is best though.

A lot of Janelle Monae's videos are on Youtube.

Hmm, I think perhaps we should make a separate, members-locked post for not-quite-legal resources for licensed and published sources.

Thanks for the reminder about "Effluent Engine", and we'll try to track down links to Janelle Monae's MVs to add to the list as well.

The Enigma of Amigara Fault is a short (32-page) manga.

There's an incomplete version of Tomie (the manga) on the Internet.

Hulu and YouTube have Murder Princess, a 6-episode OVA.

Hulu and YouTube have Shikabane Hime, which is 25 episodes long.

We probably should put up links to scans and other not-quite-legal resources under lock. However, I did add links for the two anime and will try to dig up links to the other nominated anime as well.

Oooo do you know if there will be a post for questionable content?
