I nominated several fandoms with awesome PoC:

A Chorus Line is a musical revolving around an ensemble cast that includes: Richie Walters, a gay black man; Connie Wong, an Asian-American woman; Diana Morales, a Puerto Rican dancer; and Paul San Marco, a gay Puerto Rican dancer. There are also PoC friendship-- Paul and Diana are close friends.

Laurence Yep - Chinatown Mysteries series is a YA series set in San Francisco, from the POV of Lily Lew. Her aunt, Tiger Lil, who is famous for being one of the first Chinese-Americans to make it in Hollywood and has a string of classic movies to her name, comes to visit, and they end up embroiled in various mysteries. Pretty much the entire cast are PoC-- the majority are Chinese-American, but there is also a biracial character as well as an Arabic-American. (Warning: reading this series will make you wish the Tiger Lil movie series actually existed.)

Nurse Jackie (tv) is a dark comedy show from the POV of a nurse, Nurse Jackie, working at an ER. While she's white, the main cast includes Mohammed "Mo-Mo" de la Cruz, an awesome gay Arabic-American nurse, and Ms. Gloria Akalitus, the resident nurse in charge of the ER.
