Her aunt, Tiger Lil, who is famous for being one of the first Chinese-Americans to make it in Hollywood and has a string of classic movies to her name, comes to visit, and they end up embroiled in various mysteries. Pretty much the entire cast are PoC-- the majority are Chinese-American, but there is also a biracial character as well as an Arabic-American. (Warning: reading this series will make you wish the Tiger Lil movie series actually existed.)
