A friend nominated Samurai Jack, which stars a Japanese samurai misplaced into the future, both leads are voiced by POC.
I nominated:
Jim Hines' Princess books, where one of the three titular heroes is a POC. Mongol: The Rise of Genghis Khan, filmed in Kazakhstan in Mongolian. Huge epic with a giant cast and a brothers-turned-enemies plot. Red Dwarf, which has two POC leads (one human, one...not). Sherman Alexie - The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian, an excellent YA novel. Alexie is Spokane/Coeur d'Alene Indian, and "Junior" lives on the Spokane reservation.
