I feel kind of stupid saying this considering everyone else appears to like it for the "main character"* and his white guy manpain, but Miami Vice actually had a really diverse set of characters.

* (People are still arguing, 20 years later, about whether it's a buddy cop show or an ensemble with 1 central character. Why don't you love Rico, people? Why?)
