I really appreciated the beta list; I was able to contact someone there to beta my fic, and it was much better for it. Even without that, I think the existence of dark_agenda was helpful in itself; I don't know if it would've occurred to me to look for a cultural beta if I hadn't been in that mindset already.

This year, everything I requested was from chromatic sources; all but one requested chromatic characters. I don't remember exactly which fandoms I offered, but I did get matched on a chromatic source. I found the spreadsheet to be very encouraging, both in bringing attention to chromatic sources and characters, and in making my decisions on what to offer.
