I left a comment in reply to erinptah that may explain better our reasoning behind including romanization. In short, we don't just have sourcelanders and cultural outsiders in our community to consider. However, we are in the process of discussing the question of what to do for the case of fandoms that were released in English in the country of origin, as that's a somewhat different situation than our choice to romanize English loan words and unnamed character descriptions.
