Communities of Interests

A couple of years ago [personal profile] zvi started an excellent Pro-Character of Color/Anti-Racism Guide which she still maintains. We're not attempting to maintain a list with the same breadth and comprehensiveness nor can we hope to, but here are some communities dedicated to promoting racial and cultural diversity, representation and discussion in fandom (among others).

Chromatic Diversity

Intersectionality

If you know of any other communities (or resources), please share them in the comments! Thank you!

Awesome. And this reminds me, I was going to say and then forgot: would [livejournal.com profile] lgbtfest be the sort of thing you want for intersectionality?
sqbr: pretty purple pi (existentialism)

Hmm. Well along those lines there's also [community profile] asexual_fandom and [community profile] queerlygen. There's also a bunch of comms for female characters like [livejournal.com profile] halfamoon. And now I think I am out of suggestions :)

...I'm looking for a pointer to any possible comms for betas focused on chromatic issues. (A friend of mine is looking for a culture beta who is familiar with the issues an Algerian Muslim female character would have.)

Not sure if this is allowed, but I created a livejournal community with a @Dreamwidth mirror, called [community profile] chromaticheroes if that counts a place of interest.
