Mid-Autumn Moon Festival Celebrations

This September 22nd, it will be Trung Thu or the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival. It's the one holiday that makes me yearn to live in place where right next door I could light colorful lanterns, joining and celebrating with a crowd of people, and I want to mark the holiday somehow so I'm hosting a Most Awesome Asian Characters and Celebrities Challenge similar to Fandom Hot 20 and March Madness. One of my favourite holidays! (I really need to get an appropriate lantern icon to mark it.) But surely it's on the 22nd this year? Did you mistype or is the Vietnamese celebration held at a different time?

And I see it was a misprint you fixed in the time it took me to notice and comment, so let me just go back to saying Yay Mid-Autumn Festival! I'm not sure I have time to participate in the challenge, but I'd like to, because it sounds excellent.

I mixed up the dates! I was thinking it was the 15th of the moon calendar and somehow that translated to September 15th, but you're right, it's on the 22nd! I just corrected the date. *sheepish*
