Thank you for the information (& for hunting down the information)!
Speaking personally, since AO3's tag sets accept the usage of non-canonical tags, our guidelines deviate from AO3's tag wrangling guidelines in a few areas. We prioritze the sourcelanders and in case of:
-for English loan words, we generally prefer to romanize them to the original source language, hence, Gyeongseong Seukaendeul instead of Gyeongseong Scandal -for canonically English titles, we generally prefer to include the translation in the original source language (not just English title) -for nameless characters, we generally prefer to include descriptions in the original source language (not just the English description)
We don't have a general guideline, however, on wrangling the canonical English Titles as Pet Shop of Horrors | ペットショップ オブ ホラーズ or Pettoshoppu obu Horāzu | ペットショップ オブ ホラーズ | Pet Shop of Horrors. Do you have thoughts on this?
