Remix Redux 9 & Qualifying Chromatic Characters
Remix Redux has announced their provisional list of qualifying fandoms for Round 9 and like last year, we'll be hosting a drabble fest and sub-challenge with a goal of increasing the presence of chromatic characters in remix stories. (We're currently brainstorming ideas for possible prompts and themes for the drabble fest so if there are specific kinds of prompts that work for you, let us know! You can also throw up your own prompts, either general or fandom/character specific, in the comments of each of our drabble prompt posts.)

Also, Power Rangers itself is not a chromatic source. The sentai footage (fight scenes and some villains) is from Japan, but the show is pretty much western.

I'd tentatively categorized Power Rangers as a chromatic source because the franchise creator is credited to Haim Saban, but maybe the fandom would be better categorized as a white/western/other source? (I don't know if Haim Saban identifies as non-white either.)

Also I'm pretty sure Moon should be Doctor Moon. (Unless there are two different Moons?) Moon isn't a name; for plot reasons, "doctor moon" is a title/category. Sorry to be pedantic about it, it's just that I read that list three times before I remembered who Moon was.
Sherlock (TV) has Ella (John's therapist). She's a very minor character with only a few lines and no fleshed out personality, but her (mostly off-screen) influence on John is notable, so I leave it to you to decide if that sounds like someone people could write fic about.

I'd actually make the argument that it's the creator's intention that Roy Mustang be included on that list, at the very least as someone who's multiracial. However, it's not explicitly stated in canon, only implied through visuals.
There's a pretty huge difference between the way that Arakawa draws Roy Mustang and most of the other explicitly European background-analogy adult male characters. Mustang is drawn far, far closer to Ling Yao (who is Xingese and thus from a China-analogy) than the explicitly European adult male characters (who mostly have the anime-markers of large noses, small eyes, and angled cheekbones that are used to indicate white people). It is also canonical that Mustang's only pictured relative is Madam Christmas (http://fma.wikia.com/wiki/Madame_Christmas), who is his paternal aunt.
