Kaleidoscope Graphics Challenge

Hello doers of darkness! We've launched our Kaelidoscope Fandom Promotion Fest last week with an informal sign-up for producing meta, picspams, primers, resource lists and other means of promoting Kaleidoscope-eligible fandoms during this period and kicked things off with:

• a “Rec me!” comment meme
  
• an Africa discussion post and
  
• a GLBTQI characters discussion post.

We hope to continue with more posts and hope you'll join us! There is also an informal pre-nomination strategizing here hosted by littlebutfierce.

With the start of Kaleidoscope's Fandom Promotion Fest, we are gearing up toward the start of Kaleidoscope Fanwork Exchange and that means not only promoting Kaleidoscope-eligible fandoms, but also the challenge itself. However, with promoting a challenge, we'll need some graphics and ones that we hope represent all the various chromatic sources and genres.

Thus, we would like to propose a challenge:

• create an avatar or icon ranging from 50x50, 64x64, 73x73, 100x100 to 170x170 px or
  
• create a banner ranging from 350 to 468 px wide or less

With a chromatic theme and a text caption of "Kaleidoscope", and submit it to dark_agenda by July 1 September 16, Pacific Time (U.S.A.). We welcome e-mail (to darkadmn AT gmail DOT com), comment and PM (to dark_administrator or darkadmn) submissions! We've also set up a tumblr, dark-agenda, to highlight the awesome graphics we've received and you could submit your graphics there also.
